“Don’t let what you cannot do interfere with what you can do.” ~ John Wooden.
It’s easy to focus on all the things you can’t do, but that doesn’t make things easier. In fact, it makes everything seem even harder than it really is. Instead, start to look for all the things you can do.
Okay, so you can’t go out with your friends or do business as usual, but maybe you could use that time to think – no, I mean really think about what you’d love to do – what would bring you joy and make you lose track of time and forget about everything else. And maybe, just maybe, that wouldn’t be possible if you didn’t let go of what’s been holding you back up until now.
Maybe some things, maybe even you, needed to move out of your way in order for you to grow and become who and what you were meant to be, to fulfill your potential.
There’s always something positive to see and something hidden to be discovered when you begin to see things through a different lens.
Now is the time to dream, my friend. Dream big. Start thinking in what-ifs and possibilities. Use your imagination and let your heart run free with new ideas. Then, turn your dreams into plans.
Maybe you’ve got nothing to lose. Maybe you’ve got everything to lose. No matter which it is, you only get one life. Make it as amazing as it can be and watch who you become in the process.
