I know many who consider themselves “successful” just because they took the easy road and got the outward success that looks good on social media.
They claim they’ve never “failed” but only because they’ve never left their comfort zone, they’ve never challenged themselves to grow and as a result, they’ve never reached their fullest potential. They may appear successful on the outside, but deep down inside, they know they’re missing all that’s really important to them.
If “success” isn’t happening on the inside for me, it doesn’t matter what’s happening on the outside. I’ve always said that no job (or anything else, for that matter) is worth your health or your peace, so if those things are being compromised, I need to make the necessary changes to bring my outer world into alignment with my inner values and what’s most important to me.
